Born in Yorkshire in 1950, Jon Barker has built a growing reputation with a strong demand for his work. His paintings focus on conveying movement, power, sensitivity, and tonal harmony through a fluid and expressive style.

Jon’s ‘City Life’ series captures the vibrant energy and colour of people bustling through busy streets and pavement cafés. By portraying the mood and atmosphere of fleeting moments, his work offers a glimpse into the lives of strangers—anonymous figures who invite viewers to reflect on their own experiences and memories of familiar places.

Though set in well-known locations, Jon’s intention is to transport us beyond everyday reality into an idealised world where romance and a comforting sense of protection prevail.
Delivery

If the selected print is in stock, the usual lead time is 2 to 3 business days. This is because all orders are created from scratch, and made to order. Once your order is produced and shipped, you'll receive a fulfillment update, automatically.

If any one of the prints you order is currently out of stock, the lead time increases to 7 to 10 business days, in order to allow time for the lithograph printing of your order, as well as the framing, packing and shipping process.

Once a consignment has left us, you will receive updates on it's progress directly from our carriage providers. Unfortunately, we are unable to take specific instructions, directly, but you should be able to communicate these directly to the carriage providers once they have made contact with you.
