Since graduating in 2000 with a BDes in Illustration and Printmaking, Scott Naismith has worked full-time as an artist from his Glasgow studio. Alongside his creative practice, he shares his expertise as a lecturer in the Creative Arts department at West College Scotland.

Inspired by the stunning lochs and glens of Scotland’s West coast, Scott frequently travels across the country seeking new landscapes to capture. His recent work focuses on transitional skies—those moments when light breaks through clouds—using energetic brushwork and vivid colors to create vibrant prints. These shifting skies serve as a metaphor for optimism and hope in his art.

Scott regularly exhibits across Scotland, England, and the USA, and has developed a global following. His demonstration and tuition videos on YouTube have attracted over 1.4 million views and more than 11,000 subscribers.
Delivery

If the selected print is in stock, the usual lead time is 2 to 3 business days. This is because all orders are created from scratch, and made to order. Once your order is produced and shipped, you'll receive a fulfillment update, automatically.

If any one of the prints you order is currently out of stock, the lead time increases to 7 to 10 business days, in order to allow time for the lithograph printing of your order, as well as the framing, packing and shipping process.

Once a consignment has left us, you will receive updates on it's progress directly from our carriage providers. Unfortunately, we are unable to take specific instructions, directly, but you should be able to communicate these directly to the carriage providers once they have made contact with you.
