Product Info

Chris Forsey is a British artist whose dynamic landscapes are inspired by the natural beauty of the countryside and coast. Based in Dorking, Surrey, with the North Downs just beyond his studio, Chris finds daily inspiration in the changing light, shifting seasons, and rich textures of the landscape around him.

Originally trained in art and graphics in Bristol, Chris began his creative career as an illustrator in a publisher’s studio. Since then, he has dedicated most of his working life to fine art, developing a distinctive mixed-media style that blends watercolour, pastel, and gouache.

His work is characterised by bold compositions, expressive mark-making, and a vibrant use of colour. Chris aims to capture fleeting moments in time—whether it’s the golden glow of late afternoon or the sudden shift of weather across open fields or rugged coastline.

His paintings are widely exhibited in galleries across the UK, and he has received several notable accolades, including The Matt Bruce Award and The Donald Blake Award for contemporary watercolour. In 2010, Chris was elected a member of the prestigious Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.
Delivery

If the selected print is in stock, the usual lead time is 2 to 3 business days. This is because all orders are created from scratch, and made to order. Once your order is produced and shipped, you'll receive a fulfillment update, automatically.

If any one of the prints you order is currently out of stock, the lead time increases to 7 to 10 business days, in order to allow time for the lithograph printing of your order, as well as the framing, packing and shipping process.

Once a consignment has left us, you will receive updates on it's progress directly from our carriage providers. Unfortunately, we are unable to take specific instructions, directly, but you should be able to communicate these directly to the carriage providers once they have made contact with you.
